OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Mt. Zion Baptist Church is a small community of Christ-centered believers meeting in a beautiful country church just outside of town. We like to sing from the hymn book, study God's word, and enjoy sweet fellowship in the Lord.  If you are looking for a place to belong, we may be just the right church for you.

WHO WE ARE

Mt. Zion Church is affiliated with the Red River Baptist Association, the Arkansas Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.

More importantly, we are a local congregation representing the worldwide community of all genuine believers in Christ.

Mt. Zion was founded over 125 years ago in what was then a rural farming community.  Though the community has changed over the years, it still maintains that close knit, country feel. Attenders come from as far away as Friendship and Amity. College students from two local universities attend as well.

WHERE WE ARE

Mt. Zion's church building is located 1.3 miles off of highway 8 on Mt. Zion Rd.

We are just outside the city limits of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, whose city motto is "A great place to call home."

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our core beliefs are:

Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the World.

The Bible is God's Holy Word, and our guide for faith and practice.

The local church is a group of born-again, baptized believers who have covenanted together to carry out the work of God's kingdom.
